When we try to enable mail tips for Room mailbox, after saving the mail tip content it automatically converts to user mailbox

How do you enable the mail tips for your room mailbox? Please create a new Room mailbox and set MailTips for it to have a try.

Generally, we can use EMS to set MailTips for room mailbox:

Set-Mailbox "Room13" -MailTip "This room can accommodate up to 200 people."

Alternatively, we can set the MailTip in EAC:

If there is any third-party program in your Exchange server, please disable it and check whether the issue persists.

We enabled in the same manner in ECP. Immidietly after saving the mail tip the mailbox converted to User mail

It is happening for all the room mailboxes created earlier.

I need to try with new room mailbox as you suggested now, i will do that & update

Did a test here and it does not convert to a usermailbox.

We dont have any room mailbox in 2007. all are migrated to 2013 CU5 and we are observing this in 2013 CU5 only
